The first word you hear in the movie Citizen Kane, is the last word uttered by Charles Foster Kane, “Rosebud”… The whole movie revolves around the memories of various people associated with Kane and a journalist trying to solve the mystery of the newspaper magnate’s dying word…
This movie reminded me of the Alchemist… The boy who wants to understand his recurring dream of a hidden treasure….. He decided to start a journey to find out the treasure….Through his journey he learns that each person who fulfills his personal legend enhances the Soul of the World….. as he reaches the destination, he finds out where the treasure lay all this while…. jus like how Kane realised, after all the wealth he had amassed…. he simply wanted Rosebud…… and it was home…………
