The Little Guide to Getting Simple


Instead of bolting out of bed when your alarm goes off, or hitting the snooze button, breathe mindfully. Lay in bed and take a few deep breaths before rising. (30 Seconds)


On waking, replace moving directly to the shower or coffee machine with a simple stretch. Take a deep breath. Reach your hands to the sky and look up, then slowly reach down and touch your toes or knees. Repeat. (60 Seconds)


Start your day with a glass of room temperature water. (30 Seconds)


Do nothing. (10 minutes)


Write. Draw. Sing. Dance. (10 minutes)


Call a friend. Skpe your sister. Reach out to someone that you love. (10 minutes)

These 32 minutes could change your life. This little guide will not make the complex stuff go away, but it will give you the clarity you need to manage it more effectively. You’ll notice a calmer response to stressful situations, and a clearer vision of your simple life.
