I got to watch some interesting videos today
This one on is about looking at desire from a place of selfishness rather than selfless love for the partner in a long term relationship.
I love how she explains that we need to cross over to the other side and watch this person in his/her fully glory and radiance rather than think of them as an extension of your own. If this is a sort of erotic intelligence, we can all learn it too.

At some point in our lives, if we are truly aware, we would recognize a fleeting glance that stayed longer than usual, but we missed the connection with him/her.

This is what i call making the most of a problem.
Immaculate data collection of needs and wants which is sometimes difficult to calculate.
What i loved the most was how she derived her own model and got the result (in this case, soulmate) she wanted..

I’m always used to silver lining theproblems of other people and mine too.
Sometimes things are as bad as they seem. And a sympthathetic response doesnt help. Instead we need to feel the pain along with the loved one, give them a bear hug and thank them for letting you know. Thats all.

When i listen to mothers complain of how tiring motherhood is, i feel sad and empathize to the extent i can.
And then some enthusiastic mother (like Queenie Liao) comes up with such creativity, i am bowled over and scared that the benchmarks are set too high.
